Dopo un lungo studio sul repertorio per viola da gamba sola, mi sono soffermata su quello francese del '600, incuriosita soprattutto dalla musica e dalla figura misteriosa di Monsieur de Sainte-Colombe. Affascinata dalle sue melodie a volte profonde, a volte più leggere, ma con il caratteristico linguaggio a tratti malinconico che contraddistingue questo compositore, ho deciso di analizzare in particolare il Manuscrit de Tournus, “Recueil de pièces pour basse de viole seule”. Dopo la pubblicazione del CD (che riporta il medesimo titolo del manoscritto) edito dalla casa discografica Da Vinci Classics, ho pensato di proseguire con la registrazione completa del volume, che prevede la realizzazione di altri 3 CD. Per questo motivo ho voluto organizzare una campagna Eppela per riuscire a far fronte alle spese di registrazione (tecnico del suono e sala di registrazione). Eventuali fondi aggiuntivi saranno utilizzati per organizzare conferenze e concerti con lo scopo di promuovere i CD.

After a long study on the repertoire for solo viola da gamba, I focused on the French one of the 17th century, intrigued especially by the music and the mysterious figure of Monsieur de Sainte-Colombe. Fascinated by his melodies that are sometimes deep and sometimes lighter, but always with the characteristic melancholy language that caracterizes this composer, I decided to analyze in particular the Manuscrit de Tournus ("Recueil de pièces pour basse de viole seule"). After the publication of the CD (which has the same title as the manuscript) published by the Da Vinci Classics record company, I decided to continue with the full recording of the book, which will include the realization of other 3 CDs. For this reason I wanted to organize an Eppela crowdfunding to be able to meet the recording costs (sound engineer and recording room). Any additional funds will be used to organize conferences and concerts to promote the CDs.
