INTRODUZIONE

Dare del cibo ai senzatetto, prendersi cura degli anziani, curare gli animali abbandonati, migliorare la vita dei cittadini, promuovere uno sviluppo sostenibile, aiutare bambini in difficoltà. Questo significa essere un volontario.

Siamo una squadra di filmmakers, artisti, tecnici e professionisti, ma soprattutto siamo dei sognatori.

IL NOSTRO OBIETTIVO

Presentare a più persone possibili il mondo del volontariato, allargando gli orizzonti e facendo conoscere loro questa realtà poco conosciuta.

Valorizzare le storie e le esperienze personali dei volontari. Il loro background, il loro presente, cosa vogliono fare da “grandi”. I loro sogni. Come il volontariato ha cambiato la loro vita?

Nel nostro viaggio affronteremo tutto questo!

I protagonisti. . .

Focalizzeremo l’attenzione su tre volontari di tre organizzazioni diverse tra Italia, Slovenia e Africa, collaborando con diverse ONLUS ed ONG.
 

PRIMA TAPPA – PARK ISTRA

Park Istra è un’organizzazione di beneficenza situata nell’entroterra della regione di Istra, in Slovenia, nel piccolo paese di Kastelec. Una ONG sostenuta dal programma del Corpo Europeo di solidarietà (ESC).

È attiva dal 2013 e ha ospitato più di 1000 volontari provenienti da 56 paesi diversi, i quali hanno donato più di 80 000 ore di lavoro.

La missione di Park Istra è quella di promuovere i valori di solidarietà, aiutando la popolazione e le organizzazioni locali. Preservare il patrimonio della regione di Istria, aiutare persone in difficoltà, donare loro cibo e aiuti domestici.

FONDI

I fondi verranno utilizzati per coprire le spese dei trasporti e il noleggio delle attrezzature. Parte del ricavato sarà donato direttamente a Park Istra.

TEMA PRINCIPALE 

Perché fare il volontario? Cosa significa esserlo? Ti aiuta a crescere, a capire chi sei? Ti aiuta a trovare il tuo posto nel mondo? Perché viene intrapresa questa strada? Queste sono le domande a cui cerchiamo di dare una risposta.

Aiutare gli altri per trovare noi stessi. Aiutare gli altri con piccole e grandi azioni. 

Aiutare gli altri, questa è l’unica cosa che conta.

INTRO

Giving food to the homeless, taking care of elderly people, taking care of abandoned animals, improve the lives of citizens, promote sustainable development, helping children in need. These are the volunteers.

Introducing as many people as possible to the world of volunteering, opening people's horizons and making them know this unknown reality.

Valuing the stories and personal experiences of volunteers. Their background, their present, what they want to do when they “grow up”. Their dreams. How has volunteering changed their life?

We will face all of this in our journey! 

The protagonists. . . 

We will focus on three volunteers from three different organization between Italy, Slovenia and Africa and we will collaborate with various non-profit organizations and NGOs.

FIRST STOP – PARK ISTRA

Park Istra is a charity organization, located in the inland of Istria region, Slovenia, in a small village called Kastelec. It's an NGO from the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). 

They have been active since 2013 and they hosted more than 1200 volunteers from 56 countries, who have donated more than 80,000 hours of work. 

Park Istra's mission is to promote the values of solidarity, helping the population and local organizations. Preserving the heritage of the region of Istria, helping people in hardship, donating them food and domestic help. 

This and much more is Park Istra!

FUNDS

The funds will be used to cover transportation costs, equipment rental and part of them will go directly to Park Istra.

MAIN THEME

Why volunteering? What does it mean to be one? Does it help you grow and understand who you are? Does it help you find your place in the world? Why did they choose this path? These are the questions we try to answer. 

Helping others, to find ourselves. Helping others with small and big actions.
