Live Cracks came to life in Ferrara, Italy, where it was presented in the anatomical theatre in march 2014 for the first time.

The project wants to bring new life to the anatomical theatres, originally used by medicine students for anatomical studies via the disection of dead bodies. In a celebrating the first anatomy studies, we look at the human body, its unique characteristics, its limits, its possibility of movement and even the improvement of our physical well-being partially due to those original studies. Not only were they crucial for the development of medicine. but also the arts, dance and our very idea of the human body.

We need your help to complete our Italian tour, which will hopefully extend to the European and USA tours (please visit our website for details, it will soon be translated www.livecracks.org). We have launched this crowdfunding campaign in the hope of collecting enough money to cover our costs: travelling, equipment (which may be demanding since anatomical theatre, made of wood, often do not have electricity), security costs, communication, beurocratic costs.

Support us! Help us bring back to life the theatres of death!

Thank you on behalf of our team,

Milka, Alessandra, Laura, Cristine, Giacomo, Bartleby, Paolo, Daniele, Giacomo, Chiara, Giuseppe.
