A day dedicated to animals (two and four legged, crawling, swimming, flying) and the protection of their rights, associations, individuals and institutions with passion and expertise are devoted to them.
WHY 'AN ANIMAL DAY IN NAPLES?
Why Naples is the third-largest city, after Milan and Bergamo, to have the Authority for Animal Rights appointed by the municipal administration and always in Naples there is a large community of associations and institutions working for the defense of animal rights.
WHO IS IT FOR ANIMAL DAY?
To those who already know the world of animals because they have one, to those who would know him better, to school children, the volunteers of the associations that deal with the animals, to the institutions that protect rights.

To discover that the Earth is not only inhabited by humans, that there is a world made up of sentient beings capable of suffering and joy, and for this to be known, respected and loved. To create a moment of confrontation between the workers and volunteers that help all animal lovers. To share information, numbers, practical and useful activities to animals
WHY 'WE NEED YOU?
Because for this first edition of the Animal DAY will support the costs for the organization of meetings, workshops, setting up a photographic exhibition theme Animals in the urban environment and the creation and printing of a handbook with information and valuable advice about our animal friends, for a total of 5,000 Euros.

Naples Animal Day is a project conceived by Stella Cervasio (Guarantor for Animal Rights for the City of Naples), and Susie Romano (voluntary animal lover), to create a day dedicated to animals and associations, institutions, experts and individuals to which they devote themselves with passion and expertise. The day will take place with a meeting with the schools participating in the "PROJECT SUPERVISOR" and the major animal welfare organizations.
