Welcome to the world of CIMA!
The CIMA festival was created eleven years ago and is the only festival in the world where all ticket revenues and sponsorships are completely converted into scholarships for young musicians, until the very last euro. In a world where music has become the last car of the train, it is very important that this spirit of solidarity, which CIMA tries to represent, is a good example of a wellfare life. We are here and we will continue to fight until our last sigh, in order to enable young musicians to live their passion. I sincerely thank you, because we know that, by making a donation, each of us does something for a young musician.
Thank you very much!
CIMA was founded in 2002 with the intent to promote, in a stable and continuous way, high level cultural activities in Monte Argentario. Among these the most important is the "CIMA Festival" which takes place every year during the summer. The musicians, selected young professionals from all over the world, have already performed more than 150 concerts for a passionate audience of over 30,000 people, locals and tourists alike, and arousing great interest in local, national and international press. The proceeds of all the activities organized by CIMA (from ticket sales to the production of music CDs) are intended for the exclusive benefit of the organization of concerts and scholarships and further education of young musicians. Since 2002, CIMA has awarded young artists with scholarships worth over 150,000 Euros.
