“ Alice: 88 tasti nella Storia” is a dramatic concert. Right! You perfectly understood: it’s not a real concert, but nor a pièce. Theatre and music combine themselves. The result is an innovative, sperimental, magic pièce. 3 musicians: a pianist, a cellist and a flutist don’t follow the actress with their instruments; they enter into the story and they play as actress themselves.
We play the wonderful story of Alice Herz Sommer: 110 years old’s jewish pianist, still alive, survived to Shoah, after she was deported to Terèzin, escaped from Communism, from the worst 20 century’s historical events, thanks her love for music. Alice always thought that music saved her life. Music is her religion, music is her life.
The play, thet won Fersen’s price in 2013, will be performed from 30 of January to 2 February 2014 at Oscar Theatre in Milano, with a Preview at Villa Litta the 25 of January. We are an independent music and theatre’s company: we are self financiated and it’s so difficult! That’s the reason we are here on Eppela! Because we believe more in single individual that in Institutions. Even a little offer from many people, is precious and very importantant for us. Anyway, if you’ll be generous, you’ll be generously rewarded.
For a little offer, we could thank you by our website or by our facebook page, or we could send you an autographated postcard or poster with a personalized wrote. Whose could offer more, will get a theatre ticket for our play in a very good seat, we could offer you as a drink before the performance or a dinner with us after theatre, or either a personalized cd with play’s music. Our best offer is private recital or concert at your home!
Project created by
I’m Sonia Colombo, writer and actress in Note di Quinta’s Company: a company composed by Clelia Cafiero: pianist, Laura Faoro: flutist and Maria Calvo: cellist. We would like to diffuse a particular kind of play in Italy, widespread abroad: it’s dramatic concert. It’s not a recital with music, neither a concert with voice. Music and theatre run togheter. Play is directed by Laura Pasetti; she works also in Scotland and she is interested in the project of Alice.
