Today, when architects and engineers design structures such as bridges or government offices, schools and factories, look at the wood to express a contemporary beauty that is rooted in nature and the environment. The wood is increasingly used in construction, in kindergartens and schools, religious buildings, administrative, cultural and buildings used for exhibitions, villas, factories and buildings connected to public transport. The flexibility and lightweight construction of wood is particularly suited to meet a variety of purposes due to its adaptability to many immediate needs.
Before the appearance of large corporations in the field of furniture components, such as Ikea, which have taken a good chunk of the market of mobile "low cost", a classic of a bohemian in furniture were the fruit boxes, the same as are still used today by every grocery store and in every market. After the use phase these were not immediately destroyed but used as bookcases, shelves, cabinets, magazine racks or any other use necessary.
Hence the idea of reusing materials from the bottom CREATE commercially considered at the end of its life cycle, maintaining the structural characteristics and tactile pieces of wood with which the object is composed. Final objects are shaped so that they can be fastened together in a creative way to obtain stable configurations.
The assembly object does not require the use of tools, and even glues or solvents, the system is based exclusively on the use of a specially designed system of joints.
We develop our ideas directly with the desire to offer objects that have a common purpose bigger than just functionality.

The "JOIN" is a system of joint modular freely assemble and born from the desire to create reusing materials from the low-profile commercial or considered at the end of its life cycle.
It is based on one simple rule and clear: is emphasized the universality of the piece, and the possibility of reciprocal joint.
The product is presented as a "boxed game", where the end user becomes the protagonist mounting the desired object and purchased.
All items are delivered disassembled and each box contains the pieces needed to create the object and contains explanations of assembly and design philosophy.
The shape of the single module realized by us is shaped so as to be able to be aggregated (potentially infinite) with other identical modules without the help of any technical instrument; this joint becomes the predominant stylistic feature of the final product.
"en Joint it" creative solutions to real needs.

Hello everyone, we are two architects and designers recently graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan specialized in sustainable architecture. We strongly believe in our ideas and we decided to develop creating dsquadro, our creative technology lab. We develop our ideas using scraps and materials from low-profile trade with the desire to offer useful items but especially aware.
