Imagine an eighteenth-century’s residence.
Close your eyes and plunge into the past, within lectures, debates, projections, a great exhibition of elegant historic dresses, private collections, guided tours, lab activities for children, a comics exhibition, bakery demonstrations, hairdressers making big XVIII’s century wigs, and last but not least, a musical theatre show.
You can find all of this into "Vita a Corte", a big charity event that will take place at Villa Mazzacorati, Bologna on April 19th-22nd 2012. It will be an occasion that joins past and present, approaching the topic of 700s women, compared with the now-a-day ones.
We will talk about fashion, customs and traditions of Versailles ladies. You'll be able also to go through the magic atmosphere of the past with historic commemorations and the musical "Vita a Corte", by the no-profit company Tweet Charity, which with its Broadway songs will tell the real life of the queen Marie Antoinette, with a script based on the Sofia Coppola's movie.
No one, in artistic organization teams, will receive any money: whole result of the auction will be devolved for charity associations concerning the Cancer researches.
Your help is vital in order to realize this event: we don't have enough funds to get the event ready to go.
Even a little donation will help to make our dreams come true.
