What is it about?
‘’Don’t Forget To Lock The Door’’ is a project for a new italian dramedy series, composed of 10 episodes.
The story was created by Lorenzo Amantini, Gianluca Baronchelli and Andrea Dell’Amico, produced by Elisa Cafazzo Lopez-Brea for Accademia Cinema Toscana and 9Muse srl.
During quarantine we were forced into total hermetism, away from friends, relatives and family, but also, in some cases, forced into long term cohabitation.
How many of us have felt the frustration of having to live with noisy neighbors, rude roommates, and pushy family members, unable to evade?
Max, our protagonist, has been living this condition for years, victim of the oppression of his neighbours. One night, after being robbed, he has an epiphany; will he be able to obtain his revenge on the antagonists?
By supporting the production of the pilot episode, you can help a team of young film students finish their academic year and present a credible and professional product to the industry of online broadcasters.

Who's behind the project?
We are three students of the Tuscan Cinema Academy (A.C.T), writers and creators of ‘’Don’t Forget To Lock The Door’’, a heterogeneous group with very different tastes, experiences and characters but united by a strong passion for the art of movie making. Our differences have contributed to the development of the series and the advancement of the creative process, allowing us to improvise on each other's proposals in a constructive way.
This story was born like many others, at four in the morning, after hours spent talking about this and that. Annoyed by the noises generated by the neighboring apartment, we came up with the idea of telling the story of a man who, now saturated with the selfishness of his condominiums, decides to assert himself.
The idea of a character who could represent us convinced us immediately: we have all the stories of condominium horrors, nightmare cohabitations and people to forget and perhaps through Massimo, the protagonist, we could do it. We started from this: a man like many, a condominium of demonic creatures and a great desire to fight. Since then “Remember to lock the door” has changed a lot, but the soul has remained the same, as has our love for this project.

Team
The team of students from Tuscan Cinema Academy (A.C.T) in Lucca: Filippo Parisi as director of photography, Alessandro Cusani as graphic director, editor and post-production, Sara Corsi as editor and post-production.

How funds will be used
With the money we are raising, we are going to shoot a 10 minute pilot episode of the series. The budget will be devoted almost entirely to the salary of the cast and professional workers.
To work in full compliance with anti-covid health regulations, the actors and professionals of the Tuscan territory involved in the project will be subjected to the molecular swab before and after the set; these tests are extremely costly, so part of our budget is going to cover these expenses to make sure we can all work in a safe environment and defeat coronavirus as soon as possible.
The rest of the budget will instead be allocated to the preparation of the scenography, musical composition and other extremely important elements to consolidate the unique and professional identity of the series in all its facets.
All this will be possible thanks to your contribution!

Location
The series takes place inside Massimo's condominium who lives in Tuscany.
The pilot episode will in fact be made in Pisa, between the historic center and the residential areas, and in Lucca.
