COME WITH ME (stay home free) song
The project saw the light of day to pay tribute to everyone working and fighting the pandemic for us while we were in confinement, in relative safety – and which may go on. We also wanted to raise funds for the medical community
« Come With Me (Stay Home Free) » is a song I composed at the start of confinement, decidedly positive and dynamic in the current situation.
I asked my long-time friend Johnny (Franco-Danish-American) and musical accomplice since (international) high-school, to write the lyrics – in English, since we wanted this project to have international scope, like ourselves, like the organisation we want to help, and since this world-wide pandemic has no borders…
I also brought into this project many other confined musical friends of different nationalities (Manu: Franco-Portuguese ; Liz : American ; Emanuela : Italian ; Jean-Luc, Pierre and Carole : French ; Johnny’s children Luke and Alannah and his spouse Leonora : Irish)…and many, many more friends living all over the world, who filmed themselves and clapped symbolically at the end of the video to thank every person who is fighting the pandemic – and still carries on working in spite of it.
Of course, some friends were not able to participate in the project (strictly home-made), but every single one of them gave me their support and promised to share this song as widely as possible.
I extend my greatest thanks to everyone !

My name is Max – I’m Franco-Italian – and I live between Paris and Milan. I’m married to Marina, who is Italian and lives in Milan !
In the beginning of the confinement I hoped to reunite with my wife in Milan by car, but I quickly realised it would not be possible ! The only thing left to do was to stay at home - and to stay free....!
