What is it about?
The Trasimeno Music School provides young musicians living in the Trasimeno area with an excellent and affordable musical education. The school has a system of orchestras that start with small children and lead to the Youth Orchestra. Together with individual lessons, this creates a musical experience that has formed excellent professionals and many music lovers.
1985 the school has
generous and varied program of musical events for the communities
around the lake. These include symphony orchestra concerts, musical
walks, educational concerts for the state schools, summer music camps
on Polvese Island, concerts for elderly-care
units, concerts for local community events and much more.
The school has recently inaugurated a beautiful concert hall , with an ample stage and more than 200 seats for the audience.
BUT, WHAT THE SCHOOL IS MISSING IS A CONCERT PIANO!
The piano classes are in urgent need of a quality piano (baby grand) that will allow them to study advanced piano repertoire.
With a baby grand piano the school will be able to amplify its already varied concert season with solo piano concerts, chamber music with piano, and symphony concerts featuring piano concertos.
We have found the ideal instrument on which our students, teachers and visiting pianists will be able to express themselves to the full: and the price of the piano, 7,000 euros, is very reasonable.
With your support we know that we can reach this target and make our fairy tale come true!
We look forward to seeing you at our first Piano Concert in celebration of our new baby grand with all of the friends of the Trasimeno Music School!
How funds will be used
The proceeds will be used to buy a baby grand piano of excellent quality for the very reasonable price of 7000 euros.
